Frequently Asked Questions
Why do you charge for this service?
We developed this plugin to make it easier for Obsidian users to manage attachments and sync across multiple devices. Cloud storage comes with significant costs, and we charge a fee to cover these expenses and to ensure we can continue providing a stable, high-quality service. Our pricing is structured to be fair while allowing us to maintain and improve the service.
How does CloudStorage work with Obsidian?
CloudStorage seamlessly integrates with Obsidian, allowing you to upload and manage your attachments directly from your Obsidian workspace. Once installed, you can easily upload files to the cloud and link them in your notes.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. We prioritize data security using industry-standard encryption during transfer and storage. Your files are stored in secure S3 cloud storage facilities with multi-region backups, ensuring both safety and reliability.
Is there a refund policy?
We offer a refund for first-time purchases. If you're not satisfied, please email support@antmight.com to request a refund. We aim to process all refund requests promptly.
Can I stack or combine membership plans?
Yes, you can. If you purchase the same plan multiple times, the duration will automatically stack. If you buy different plans, the storage capacity and other benefits will be combined.
Does CloudStorage support resumable uploads?
Definitely. All uploads that are interrupted will automatically resume from where they left off the next time you initiate an upload. This feature saves time and bandwidth, especially for larger files.
Will my files be overwritten if I upload files with the same name?
By default, files with the same name in the cloud will be overwritten. However, if you're a member and have enabled the renaming setting, our plugin will ensure that no files are accidentally overwritten by automatically adjusting filenames.
Where are my uploaded files stored?
Your files are stored in S3 cloud storage facilities in the region you selected during registration. We maintain multiple backups across different locations to ensure the safety and reliability of your data.
How can I get support if I have issues?
We offer technical support to all our users. If you're on the Pro plan, you'll receive priority support. For any questions or issues, please email support@antmight.com, and our team will be happy to assist you.
Is there a limit to file sizes I can upload?
While we don't have a strict file size limit, we recommend keeping individual file sizes under 1GB for optimal performance. If you need to upload larger files, please contact our support team for assistance.
Can I access my files outside of Obsidian?
Yes, you can. We provide a web interface where you can view, download, and manage your uploaded files. This allows you to access your attachments from any device, even when you're not using Obsidian.
How does free egress policy work?
Our free data transfer (egress) is intended for reasonable use. If your monthly downloads consistently exceed your stored data volume, your account may be subject to limitations. For example, storing 1 TB and downloading up to 1 TB monthly is acceptable, but regularly exceeding this ratio may result in service restrictions.
